I live in an intensely beautiful part of the world and what I create is influenced by the exquisite little moments that make up my life. The sound of the Mopoke owls calling to each other down in the creek at night or finding a tiny hidden fungi, bursting with life after the rain or the smell of grass being "mowed" by my horse on the lawn or the taste of sun-warmed tomatoes from the garden or watching the Kingfisher parents raise their chicks each Summer or the feel of a Skinks feet on my hand when I rescue it from a tight spot. All these things and much, much more are part of my inspiration, so much so that when I create, I am always trying to give some of that back. In every piece I endeavour to impart some of the love and joy and respect and gratitude and care that I work every day to find. Living so close to nature has it's price but for me the rewards are truly worthwhile.
